Brighton Pride
At the beginning of the month we attended the Brighton Pride Parade and Fabuloso Festival.
This was our first proper outing as a team so we were super excited to have fun and experience the celebrations together.
Although the weather was miserable on the Saturday, it certainly didn't dampen our spirits! The Parade itself was beautiful; the energy was palpable and emotions were running high for us all - It was so special to see so many proud supporters lining the streets for those who took part in the parade.
Knowing that we had a pitch at Warwickshire Pride at the end of the month, we really wanted to see things for ourselves to help give us an idea of how we could attend future events as a company. That we are out there raising awareness of the importance of gender affirming prosthetics is an integral part of our company ethos, so we want to make sure we are doing it to the best of our abilities.
Warwickshire Pride
The whole of Team MorMe attended our first Pride event as official Stall Holders!
Warwickshire Pride is hosted in our Founder's hometown, Leamington Spa, so it felt extra special that we were able to bring MorMe 'home' for the weekend.
We had an amazing day chatting to so many attendees; some who were interested in our products for themselves, and many who were simply curious to learn more about what we do.
It was excellent to be able to inform people of the importance of gender affirming prosthetics, and allow them to see our products 'in the flesh' - it truly felt like every person who visited our pitch left with a greater understanding of our products and our passion for what we do. We feel very lucky that every encounter we had was so positive, and it is certainly a day that we will remember for a long time.
We are absolutely thrilled with how the day went. The atmosphere was so full of joy and we were totally buzzing by the end of the day!
Although this was our only event planned for this year, we can't wait to get back out on the road again and we are already getting stuck in to organising our calendar for the next year of events - so if you have any recommendations for a Pride Event you'd like to see us at next year, please do pop us a message! This is in the final stages of development now - we are confident that we have a complete design and are working hard to have this released in early September - so watch this space!
Imperfect Packers
We will soon be releasing a batch of our Imperfect Packers - these are a mix of Basic Model and The Original Soft Packer, all with slight imperfections that means we are unable to sell at full price.
